A product that is cruelty free simply means it was not tested on animals, although cosmetics testing on animal is banned in the European Union, it is still practiced in the USA and some other parts of the world. Since this is a concern for many people who search for ethical brands to subscribe, for this reason we explored the Hungarian Market to discover Beauty Products that are ethical, Cruelty Free and Vegan. Top of our list is Pom-Pom, as mentioned in our Brands to Watch we love pom-pom after trying out a few of the oils, we can gladly say the Q-10 is our favorite and every other products delivered on quality. Pom-Pom is vegan, cruelty free and uses 100% essential oils with a variety of products from face creams, face oils, masks, scrubs and more recently I discovered the botox cream.
Sometime ago in 2018 at the WAMP Design fair in Deák Ferenc Tér the city center of Budapest I stumbled on this brand, got some products to give it a try. MySkin products was surprisingly nice in mini packaging that allows an ideal travel size for short trips. Myskin brand claims to be 100% natural, uses no harmful chemicals, no paraben or silicon and is not tested on animal. Offering a range of products from face creams, body care and hand creams mostly made from mango butter, almond butter, rose etc and not specific to a skin type.
NeoNature Cosmetics is another great discovery and also shows that it follows some ethical beauty rules. Neo nature has a variety of calming day and night products with eco friendly packaging, cruelty free, chemical free and suitable for men and women, with amazing reviews from customers, NeoNature will be a must try.
Nagora cosmetics is a fresh preservative free brand, with a wide range off products, Nagora claims to be certified BIO and uses 100% natural ingredients, Vegan, free from petroleum derivative, synthetic dyes, fragrance, paraben, silicon, GMO and harmful sulfates. It will be a great brand to try out.
Sofia Mitchelle is a brand by Mihály Zsófia, I just stumbled upon during my explorations and it seems to be doing well in the aspects of ethical beauty, its products claim to be are cruelty free, GMO Free, Preservative Free, Paraben Free, Palm Oil Free and are Vegan, with a good range from face care, body care, deodorants, hand and surface cleaner, hair care etc. Click on the title name for store link.
